Executive Producer - Elle Beattie (nee Conwell)

Elle is an experienced Executive Producer with a strong track record (and passion) for launching new podcasts and radio shows. Elle is a brilliant content maker and knows how to work with talent to get the best out of them.

I personally worked alongside Elle in a studio every day for 3 years, and not only is she talented, her communication style makes her very easy to work with.

If you’re stuck with the content side of your podcast - Elle is available for freelance projects and consulting work, and I’d love to connect you to chat.

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Elle has produced well over 10,000 hours of radio and podcast content (this includes working on #1 radio shows and iTunes rated podcasts).

  • She has booked & produced interviews with over 1000 high profile guests. These guests range from Hollywood A-listers (Will Ferrell, Jerry Seinfeld, Katy Perry) to the world’s best journos on the ground covering breaking news. And Elle also has a knack for hunting down the best experts in any field.

  • Her most recent role is with Mamamia, the largest women’s podcast network in the world. Elle was brought on board to launch their first daily podcast offering – The Quicky. In the first month they smashed their download target by almost four times the benchmark set, and their download numbers are now well into the millions and climbing.

  • Prior to that Elle was the Executive Producer of Australia's #1 national drive show, Kate, Tim and Marty. Elle launched the show (which debuted at #1 nationally in the drive slot) and then held the position (maintaining the #1 ratings) for 3 years.

  • Having worked in commercial radio her entire career, she nails it when it comes to integrating clients and sponsor messaging.

THE BRAGGY BITS:

  • The Quicky was recently shortlisted as ‘Best Podcast’ for the Mumbrella Publish Awards (winners TBC). These awards celebrate the best of the best in Australian publishing.

  • She was nominated for Best Producer at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards two years in a row. She has also spoken on panels at the industry conference that coincides with these awards.

  • Elle was invited by the Australian Film Television & Radio School to mentor their radio students.

THE QUIRKY PART:

  • Elle has orchestrated broadcasts and records in many weird and wonderful places that were full of logistical hurdles. From taking an orchestra to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for a live show, to broadcasting at 30,000 feet from a private jet full of listeners. There’s no challenge Elle can’t live up to.
